Ready, Set, Cycle!

On the back of Manchester being declared the European Capital of Cycling, Clean and Green Castlefield and Manchester City Council have joined up to stage a day celebrating cycling and active travel.

Transport for Greater Manchester’s Active Travel Roadshow will be on site to share information about the newly revamped walking and cycling routes of the Bee Network and how you can make the most of it.

Greater Manchester Police will be applying security tags to bikes and sharing useful tips on how to keep your bike safe from thieves.

Bee Pedal Ready will be carrying out bike maintenance on any bikes (all free of charge!)

The wonderful Chorlton Bike Deliveries will be showing off their delivery bikes and highlighting what’s possible on two (or three!) wheels.

There will also be plenty of free active travel goodies on offer throughout the day.
